Ensto Novexia has acquired from Tridelta International AG the entire share capital of Tridelta Parafoudres SA, a manufacturer of surge arresters for utility networks, on 8 April 2016. This acquisition is perfectly in line with Ensto’s strategy of focusing in the power quality of electric distribution networks.

Tridelta Parafoudres is a French company located in Bagnères de Bigorre, France, specializing in medium and high voltage surge arresters that protect electrical lines against over voltages. Tridelta Parafoudres is a well-known supplier for major utilities and rail operators on all continents. Tridelta Parafoudres employs about 40 professionals and has turnover of 12 million euros.

"Tridelta Parafoudres has a solid technology in surge arresters, proven expertise, an extensive network of distributors and long-term customer relationships. Its product offering will complement Ensto’s current product selection, especially in the area of surge arresters, which are vital components in building network power quality in extreme climate conditions," says Ari Virtanen, CEO of Ensto Group.

Tridelta Parafoudres is renamed Ensto Novexia Parafoudres.
