In August, Wärtsilä signed a contract with Norwegian Höegh LNG to supply re-gasification system for an FSRU (floating, storage, re-gasification unit) conversion project to be carried out on a modern LNG vessel. The delivery is scheduled for autumn 2017.

Wärtsilä and Höegh LNG have cooperated succesfully in the past, and the latest project will be the ninth re-gasification system provided to Höegh LNG by Wärtsilä. The delivery includes a water glycol re-gasification module, seawater heaters and pumps.

"Repeat orders are the most positive endorsement of customer satisfaction, and we are delighted to again be the supplier of choice for this conversion project," says Timo Koponen, Vice President, Flow and Gas Solutions, Wärtsilä Marine Solutions.

In 2015, Wärtsilä’s net sales totalled five billion euros. The company has approximately 18 800 employees in over 200 locations globally.
